HBR Board Meeting

Tuesday, November 5, 2024

At the HBR Board Planning Meeting, Chair Mark Fukunaga led discussions on key topics, including Task Force Challenge: Creating Strategic Plans and a Major Policy Focus and Member Engagement: Increasing Participation. He highlighted the ongoing challenge of making HBR meetings more valuable and relevant, focusing on strategies to strengthen member engagement.

The board reviewed survey results and discussed the Task Force Agenda, Goals, Accomplishments, Planned Actions, and Areas Needing Support.  Additionally, the board approved establishing the Military Affairs Ad Hoc Task Force as a standing committee for a three-year term, with a reassessment planned to ensure it does not duplicate the efforts of the MAC.

HBR also welcomed Chase Aalborg, President of Adventist Health Castle, as its newest member. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to him!
