Major General Mark A. Hashimoto

On February 28, the Hawaii Business Roundtable had a very informative briefing by guest speakers, Major General Mark A. Hashimoto, Mobilization Assistant to the Commander U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, Loren A. Johnson, Chief, Directorate for Intelligence, and Ashley Conner, Director, Community Engagement.

Major General Mark A. Hashimoto provided the board with an update on INDOPACOM and briefly talked about their strategic priorities, defending the nation through integrated deterrence, strengthening our relationships with allies and partners, and increasing our warfighting advantage.  Loren Johnson provided us with some insights regarding the downing of the Chinese observation balloon and other activities in North Korea. 

Major General Hashimoto addressed questions from the board members regarding ongoing threats towards the U.S.  The HBR looks forward to future informational briefing from U.S. Indo-Pacific Command.
